Today I'm sharing another one of my favorite things: chocolate chip cookies!!! We make them probably at least every other week in my house. My two girls love to bake and over the last year they have been tweaking our family recipe until it's reached perfection! Seriously - the best homemade cookies I've ever had. It took a little asking to get my daughter to spill her secret recipe, but here it is!!
KYLEE'S DIVINE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Ingredients:
1 cup butter (not margarine -- you gotta use real butter!)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
2 3/4 - 3 cups flour
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
In a large bowl beat the butter sugars, and baking soda until creamed.
Beat in the eggs and vanilla until combined.
Add flour one cup at a time and then mix in the chocolate chips. Roll the dough into almost perfectly round medium-sized balls.
Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
Enjoy with a cup of milk!
