I just returned from an AMAZING weekend in the Windy City at Younique's 3rd Annual Convention with over 5,000 other Beauty Presenters!! What a fabulous week!! First - had to get there ;)
took my hubby on this trip with me! Had to send some fun selfies back to the kiddos ;)
WEDNESDAY:
We got to fit in JUST a bit of sightseeing in Chicago before the event got started ...
Then the official convention got started with a Black Status Leader Training on Wednesday, where we got to hear from the head of each department and from our founders, Derek Maxfield and Melanie Huscroft!
Did I mention the convention center looked AMAZING!!
CLASSY!!! The whole convention center was younique-i-fied!!

on to THURSDAY!!!!
Got made up by the lovely GINGER MCCLELLAN for headshots that corporate did for the Black Status Leaders. And of course, had to grab a few selfies of some of my fav people!

Then off to the Swag Store to check out all the fabulousness there!
Thursday I got to quickly meet up with some of my awesome team! .... and YEAH for Selfie Sticks!!!!
I had to leave the team things to go to a Facilitator Dinner for all those speaking and....eek!! I got my first EVER Tiffany Box :) It was so nice to be appreciated with a thoughtful gift from corporate!!!!
Thursday night was a ROCKIN' 80's PARTY including a 5,000 STRONG FLASH DANCE and getting up on the stage!!! So fun!!!!
onto FRIDAY -- Team Shirts, General Session and NEW PRODUCT REVEAL!!
yup - did I mention NEW products!!! I am SOOO thrilled for concealer, foundation, lipstick, shadow palettes and BROW KIT!!!
Friday afternoon I got to teach my super fun SPONSORING CLASS to 3 different groups. It got a little bit crazy with a line out the door and the seating quickly ran out -- but we still had some floor space so ladies just made themselves comfortable!
Friday Night was TEAM NIGHT!!! We decided to hop away from the convention center for a picnic near the lake with some famous CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA that was delish!!!
Saturday, we were back again for fun & classes, including an inspiring talk from Elizabeth Smart, who share her personal story of her abduction and survival. We also learned about the new Younique Foundation "campus" - a house that will be able to have 3 groups of 10 women, who are victims of sexual abuse, come for a healing retreat.
Saturday Evening was the Gala and I was so BLESSED and EXCITED to be able to walk on stage as the 45th person to hit Black Status in the entire company!!!!! Out of 220,000+ presenters in 6 different countries there were about 111 Black Status Presenters recognized on stage!!
I have SO much to be thankful for with this company, but I know I wouldn't be anywhere without my amazing team, fantastic leaders, and supportive upline!!!!
Here's to an amazing upcoming year and I'll see you all again in St. Louis!!!!!
